I started playing Pokemon Violet (FINALLY!) and Final Fantasy Tactics! I usually latch on the RPGs. I also need to 100% Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories

Playing Division with your brother and friend sounds fun!! I'm not knowledgable at all with shooters, but I know how fun and chaotic they can be with friendshumanfinny wrote: Fri Jan 10, 2025 9:10 pm We just finished Left 4 Dead 2 again, it was sick. We are also playing the Division w/ my brother and his friend. And also a lot of Minecraft!! I like movement shooters a lot like Titanfall and Mirrors Edge, story games, visual novels, etc. pretty much anything for the DS and PSP too lol.
Ive never actually played a pokemon game for really long, is there one that is heavy on the story that you could rec me?
this was by far the most painful kh game for me lmao, respect. my boyfriend and i were just talking about playing through all of them again, but it's such a daunting task...AngelEyeSprings wrote: Fri Jan 10, 2025 6:13 pm I also need to 100% Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories![]()

yes we are a disaster team lol. pokemon mystery dungeon looks so nice!! yes i hear a lot of good stuff about heartgold and soulsilver so maybe i should start there.AngelEyeSprings wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 6:53 am Playing Division with your brother and friend sounds fun!! I think Gen 5's take on an evil team is probably my favorite. There's lots of cutscenes in newer Pokemon games. Sun and Moon and their sequels Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon had a prominent plot and I liked the story characters. I'll recommend HeartGold and SoulSilver as the best Pokemon games overall imo.
If not having a mainline Pokemon game is okay, then play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky!! I have very many fond memories as a kid and there were some touching moments![]()
Yeah, it's pretty... yeah... anyone who has played the game understands lol. I was a little confused when first playingjessica wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 5:29 pm this was by far the most painful kh game for me lmao, respect. my boyfriend and i were just talking about playing through all of them again, but it's such a daunting task...
OMG how is Infinity Nikki? Have you made cute outfits / coords so far?? It looks really fun, but I can't do gatcha / free-to-play anymorejessica wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 5:29 pm lately i've been mostly switching between fields of mistria, infinity nikki, and final fantasy viii remaster (it's been yeaaars since i first played ffviii and i was completely crazy about it, so it's been really fun to revisit) and sometimes i pull out pokemon violet because i haven't finished the DLC yet. but mostly i am waiting for some new games to catch my interest.
i tend to like rpgs (especially jrpgs) and sim life stuff. and if something has both of those things? amazing (i'm looking at you, rune factory series)
Can relate a little with me and my sibling, especially with game co-ops! Yes, please play it if you wanna try Pokemon! The walking Pokemon is a great feature, and there's lots of content in the games. Gen 4 added a lot of evolutions to past Pokemon that weren't so great by themselves, so it's a good way to enjoy the Johto region. (I also like how it's post-physical / special split...) All of the starters are cute as wellhumanfinny wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 8:16 pm

it's SOOOO much fun, i was actually really surprised! i avoided it at first, bc i played love nikki back in the day and spent way too much money on it lmao, but my friend convinced me to give it a try. it feels like a cross between like botw and final fantasy xiv, but with a complex dress up system? like it's genuinely fun and nice to play as an rpg, and you CAN get away with playing it without spending money if you avoid the gatcha part...but it's difficult ugh.AngelEyeSprings wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:06 pmOMG how is Infinity Nikki? I have similar tastes in games as well!
