Do Art Daily (or DAD) is a site that gives its users an incentive to create both by encouraging you to maintain a streak and by awarding badges for challenges accomplished. Users must work on art for at least 30 minutes per rollover to keep their streak and there's so much help on the site if you want to go outside of your comfort zone and improve. I've known about it since Flonne posted her account in her diary but after you suggested it to me I decided to join. I come from a position where I have next to no art experience - the last time I drew properly was 2018 I think. I'm a bit surprised at how much progress I've made in less than a month but I know I still have a long way to go to achieve my goals. It's a drag sometimes but can be fun, especially when I draw for people. I have two hours to extend my streak so I better get to work
Aside from all my friends, I really like juta's art. She draws really cute girls and frogs!

Even days I wouldn't normally be drawing (days I'm outside all day, Christmas, my wrist hurts), I'm still drawing to keep my streak. I don't think that's necessarily helping me though.

I am uploading early in the GMT date change because the timing is like 4 PM where I live and that's bullshit. I'm not interested in their challenges, only seeing my friends' daily work! I'm only bothering timing this month because I accidentally joined a house which was later named after Mima....

i've had an account for a while but would usually just lurk. i decided to be active a few days ago after seeing some familiar faces! my goals are to draw faster (rendering specifically), get back into drawing (i got artblocked hard last july), and also get out of my comfort zone. but so far i've only drawn cute girls so ... also, it'll be nice to try and keep a streak going seeing as how i fail inktober every single year because of timing (too busy during october...)

my only complaint about DAD is that a lot of the badges are ugly (lol)
